There is a website, that talks about a live music venue specializing in blues and jazz.So, Riff Raff Tavern on the Canal. Sounds great: Canal Street developing into a little nightlife district
Yet, looking in the windows, not much has been done. Spring 2008 opening?
Anyone familiar with this project? Is it real or dead?
Don't have a clue first I heard about it. All I can say is some guy who always posts at Daytonbands.com is called rifraff...

Ya, the guy who owns it is my neighbor and he is opening Aug 2nd 2008.

ReplyDeleteunder construction... after years of haggleing with the city of dayton its on permits being pulled, construction beginning. Its funny how from the 1900 till 2008 the building stood there and the city wanted to have everything changed. Thanks to jim montgromery steve the builder, and the coumminty around riff raff the pressure on the city its happen 4 years of struggle and now THIS IS IT
