A small but very uptown downtown cocktail lounge in the ground floor of the high-modern, Harry Weese designed First National Bank builidng (the original name of the skyscraper).
Sidebar does it right. Comfortable yet stylish interior, top shelf liquor, a respectable wine rack, and, best of all, their custom cocktails, possibly the best in the city. Their specialty drink menu changes every so often (not sure of the cycle) but what they mix is outstanding. And expensive. And worth it.
Sidebar is open late on weekends, so a good choice after the show at the Shuster (only a block away).
Try it, you'll like it.
